I’d like to talk about a mirror that I use every single day. It’s a full-length mirror that stands in the corner of my bedroom, right next to my wardrobe.
I bought it online about a year ago when I decided to redecorate my room. Visually, it’s quite minimalist. It has a thin, matte black metal frame and a small stand at the back, so it leans slightly backward. What I love about its design is that it doesn’t take up much room, but it instantly makes my bedroom feel larger and brighter because it reflects the natural light coming from the window.
As for how often I use it, I’d say at least twice a day. The main reason I look at it is purely practical. Every morning, after I finish getting dressed, I stand in front of it to check my outfit. It helps me see if my clothes match, if my shirt is tucked in properly, or if I need to change my shoes.
Before I bought this mirror, I only had a small one in the bathroom, so I could only see my face and shoulders. That made picking out clothes really frustrating. Now, having a full-body view saves me a lot of time and gives me a bit of extra confidence, knowing that I look completely presentable before stepping out the door. It’s definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made for my room.

They genuinely enjoy admiring their own reflection. In today’s social media era, where image is everything, people are paying more attention to how they look than ever before.”
Q2: Do you think mirrors are necessary additions to a home?
“Absolutely. Aside from their obvious practical use for grooming and dressing, mirrors play a huge role in interior design. If you have a small apartment, putting a large mirror on the wall can create an illusion of space, making the room feel twice as big. They also bounce light around the room, which can brighten up a dark hallway or a room without many windows. So, they are both functional and decorative.”
