Illustrated in the diagram is how instant noodles are systematically manufactured. As can be seen from the process, there are 8 stages in total to turn raw flour to instant noodle packages.

The first stages aim to have the noodle prepared. First, flour is delivered from their giant storage tanks to the factory. The mixture of that with water and oil comes straight to a system of rollers to be flattened. Simultaneously, the dough is formed in sheets, and then stripped. Following this is the dough strips being shaped into noodle discs. These are then deep fried in oil and dried.

The finishing touch revolves around seasoning and packaging. A line of cups into which the noodle discs are placed is waiting in line together with the ready-made accompaniments including dried vegetables and spice packs. Those cups are subsequently labelled and sealed, ready to be delivered to retailers and wholesalers.
